How The Custom Order Process Works at DASHE
Step 1: An Idea
You submit the form below and I review your idea. I’ll respond with clarification and a general plan for the project. Then, we’ll set up an in person consultation.
Step 2: A Plan
We meet in person to review sketches, the itemized invoice and payment schedule. At this stage, 30% of the commission cost is due, and you will sign off on the sketch/sketches for your project.
Step 3: Fitting & Review
Straightforward review of the toile (a muslin prototype of the piece), where I can make sure the final product fits perfectly and has the correct form. At this stage, another 30% of the commission cost is due.
Step 4: Completion
Once the garment is complete, you come to the studio to pick it up, where you will double check the fit and quality, and pay the remaining 40% of the commission cost. It’s all yours!
NOTE: All custom orders come with a complete one-year warranty which includes free repairs and part replacements.
